Grape jelly and caramelized apricot nose. Thin and sweet. Canned fruit, sugar coated white grapes and caramel flakes. Mild, tannic finish. Easy drinking and simple. More of a passive pour than one to pick apart the flavors.

I’m about a quarter into this bottle.
This is a really nice cognac. Semisweet and mellow with marzipan, prunes, brown sugar, maple, caramel, chocolate, sweet spices, cinnamon, clove and candied nuts. Long spicy finish. A lot of really great notes. I’m still trying to unpack it all.
Distiller Review No. 863
This is an excellent VSOP, especially on sale for $76 Canadian here in Ontario.
At the regular price of $100, I would rate it 3.75. This is a wonderful value. It is not too
sweet and is very smooth. It is well crafted and delicious.
