Bowmore Vintner's Trilogy 18 Year Double Matured Manzanilla

Sweet, musty, mild smoke. Quite nice.

★★★★★ Bowmore Vertical 5 of 7 Goddamn it, it's good! I have the impression that all my senses are in turmoil and that my body will explode in a panoply of extreme flavours. So many emotions that are spreading almost make me cry. For the price, compared to the other whiskies tasted today, I think this one would deserve the opening of a savings account. For $10 a month, I could get a bottle in three years

One of my favourites. Pairs well with a good cigar.

It's perplexing and mercurial, being both sweet and smoky - think of salted fish, barbecue sauce and a cigar... all in one sitting. It's absolutely delicious!
