Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie

I disagree with the tasting notes on this, it is still distinctly an Islay with a peat flavour. It is considerably less than that of say, Lagavulin, but it's there. Pretty good whisky.

Very interesting. Normally a total hater of peat and all things Islay but this wasn't so bad. Not over intensely smoky, just enough though that I could pick up the sweet underneath and floral notes. A little hot though, but I guess that's to be expected

First sip was salty...

single peat note. spicy. excellent

It's fine. Heather, honey, light alcohol burn.
