Perfect balance of bitter, spicy, herbal, and sweet. Nice cocoa and raisin offset by earthy roots and aromatic herbs. An exemplary, versatile vermouth complimentary to all cocktails. My go-to sweet vermouth in the original Torino style. Astounding quality to price value as well.

The perfect vermouth for a Manhattan. Nose: red berries, rhubarb, caramel, orange, vanilla, and a touch of sandalwood. Taste: follows the nose—rich red berries plus some nuttiness and earthiness, which develops into rosemary and licorice with a lovely bitter finish to counteract the sweetness. The sweet and bitter balance is absolute perfection, which is why this vermouth is so commonly used in the Manhattan. Plays well with floral bitters such as Campari. I always keep a bottle on hand for cocktails such as the aforementioned Manhattan, Boulevardier, or Negroni.
