Straight: alright

Solid, just not quite as good as the other Barrel Proofs I’ve had

Bourbon flavored cotton candy. 🏁 Full disclosure: I have added a few drops of water already. oOoOO that's interesting. I'm a sucker for high proof. If you enjoy a good cask strength, this a great chioce. Even thise who really only drink wheated bourbons can find some great notes to enjoy. If you're just getting into higher proofs, try some EC Small Batch first to see if you enjoy the profile. If you do, you'll likely love it in its pure form, even as it changes slightly batch to batch.

Caramel caramel caramel all day. Nose not too ethanol considering the proof. All over the palette followed by a smooth and warm KY hug. Don’t dilute it. Some of the best!

Good, but falls short of greatness. Wonderful nose - sweet and fruity, excellent. Palate has a good mouth feel and strong classic bourbon flavors. But, the spice and proof overpowers the finish. Still a steal in today’s market and would readily buy again, but can’t measure up to B521 or A122. Notes from a previous tasting: more spicy. Barrel spice and cherry. Trends a little bitter on the long, drying finish. Tasty, hard to believe how much variation exists in profile between batches. Definitely less sweet, but still damn good.
