Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel Bourbon

On the nose you get cinnamon, barrel char, and brown sugar, which is no surprise. On the palate it's smooth with some vanilla and brown sugar, but as it finishes the cinnamon and pepper from the toasted barrel starts to come through for a long warming finish. This is a great pour for a cold night.

Super smooth and nice toasted flavor

Nose: Medicinal, smell grain alcohol. Oak, carmel, grass, cherry Taste: Peppery, carmel, heat, berry syrup Finish: light mouth feel, lingers. Feels young. Overall: it’s interesting, simple, just above average.

No heat. Smooth short finish. Toasted flavor is not as prominent as I had imagined it would be. Still a delicious sipper

Nice oak and sweetness, a little hot 94 proof but solid pour.
