Fable & Folly 14 Year Whiskey

I’m very surprised. This dram is extremely oak forward. The tannins are very present. There’s a lot of sweet oak, some pine, and some bit of a smoked apple wood. Not sure I’d willingly drink this alone, but it pairs perfectly with a cigar! *Paired with a My Father- The Judge cigar.

Minerals and sweet oak nose. Sweet, vegetal hard candy. Oak laced throughout. Short finish but vanilla pops late.

Old oak, leather, spice, medium finish. A different whisky. Good for a dram, much better bottles out there from a price perspective.

Smooth dark fruits, long oak finish.
