Fortaleza Añejo Tequila

An extremely delicious Anejo. All of the main things youre looking for in a solid anejo are here. You get the sweetness from caramel and vanilla, the slight bitterness from the oak, some floral agave flavor, and some ever so slight hints of slice on the finish. Its also incredibly smooth and easy to drink. Its a little expensive and my biggest knock against it. Id also like it a little more if it was a tad stronger, closer to 90 proof. Neither consequence is so major that id wouldnt buy it again.

Velvety smooth, hint of sweetness, complex and layered. Yum :)

Sweet light agave smell. Super smooth. Agave throughout, sweetness, 0.00% burn. It’s a very enjoyable pour. At first it felt muted, but now i’m tasting the other notes. Sugary agave. I feel like I can drink the whole bottle in no time.

Mellow. Easy drinker. No stand out flavor like the Reposado.

Delicious! Fortaleza is great. Such a clean tasting tequila that has a lotbif depth. I recommend buying this one if you see it on the shelf but good luck finding it anywhere.
