Compared to a similarly priced sourced wheater, this falls well short of Penelope wheated. This bouron is sweet and smooth, but boring and too sweet for me.

Review #345
Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes.
Color: Medium amber.
Nose: Fresh cornbread with butter and a pinch of cinnamon.
Palate: Cinnamon, clove, baking spice.
Finish: Medium length with medium heat.
Splash: A bit of oak appears.
Overall: 7.5/10 - The nose is really fantastic here, but what follows is pretty average. Maybe a little above average, but the nose is fantastic.
PROS: The nose punches way above its weight! Absolutely fantastic. Palette is good - nice and mellow. Well priced at around $35.
CONS: Lots of ethanol on the aftertaste
