Reviewed June 28, 2021 (edited July 14, 2021)I’m not a fan of Jack, but this I can sip. The woody and spicy elements and strong ethanol burn help cover up the sweet banana flavor that I find too overwhelming in Old No 7. The nose is actually the best part of this whiskey! -

Reviewed June 26, 2021The higher proof really helps old no 7 stand up. As all jack Daniels products it’s basically the same recipe and process so releasing expressions at higher ABV is a great choice. All the regular flavors are here just ramped up. Banana, sugared peanut and more pronounced spice notes at the finish. It stands up very well in cocktails and due to the handsome bottle it would make a nice gift whiskey to that jack fan in your life. -
