Jefferson's Rye Cognac Cask Finish

A nice floral and honey smell, followed by molasses, honey, herby, get a nice zesty minty note that is refreshing. Definitely a winner. And now one of my favorites.

Well... Different for me, but in a good way. Easy sippn neat, fruity, smooth, warm finish.. Little different then a 120 barrel proof. Think my wife will like this one...

Finding this much brighter than what most are saying. White wine/green grapes, apricot and a little peachy nose. Then those fade and it gets a bit earthy. Rye comes through after a few sips. Not overly spicy but it's there. A bit thin. Short --> moderate finish. Decent sipper but I'm not sure I'll buy another at this price. Plenty of others in the $50-60 range that are superior. Still a fan of the Ocean but not convinced on this one.
