Jim Beam Pre-Prohibition Style Rye

Spicy, smooth, good for sharing and my new go-to for a cheap drink

Solid for a rye from a big producer. Subtle rye throughout with spices and a bit of butterscotch thrown in. Pleasant but not overly distinctive. George Dickel wins over this. This rye does have a lingering afterburn for those winter nights.

Can’t say that it is better than original Jim beam white. Alcohol in the nose, a little bit of vanilla and oak. Wouldn’t purchase it again.
