Journeyman Distillery Corsets, Whips & Whiskey

Heavy Butterscotch thick and creamy, kind of reminds me of a Texas whiskey, its not very complex but the flavors that are there are bold and you dont have to hunt for them with butterscotch being the most predominant being backed up with a Sweet wheat bread, honey, and some barrel flavor and spice . Would definitely recommend but this is not a traditional tasting Kentucky Bourbon so if thats not your thing maybe this isn’t for you . And yes I know Journeyman is from Michigan.

Sweet caramel, pepper

The signature house style is present throughout. Charred marshmallow, cola, spice, dusty grains. Viscous. Long warming finish.

Honestly the nose started out like a Highland single malt, then went briny, then to black licorice. Super confusing and yet fun. The tasted carries the black licorice and brings in...pine? Yes, pine. The finish is long but this shit is confusing, but certainly not in a bad way
