Larceny Barrel Proof Batch B522 123.8 proof Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes. Color: Medium-dark amber. Nose: Apricot, caramel, some toffee notes. Palate: Cinnamon overpowers. Finish: Warm and very long. Splash: Calms the spice, allowing some clove and oak flavors through. Overall: 7.5/10 - The high proof is unmistakable, but the flavors are bold. Would be great on the rocks or in a cocktail without losing its flavor.

Nose is light. Apples, with a touch of pine, smoke, and fall spices. Palate is closer to tart cherry pie with a dry chocolatey finish. This is fine but not among my favorites in the Larceny BP series. Might be just in my head but the B's always seem to be my least favorite every year.

8.1/10 HEAT. Oaky, vanilla, brown sugar, wheated bourbon nose. Oaky brown sugar pállate with some HEAT. Maybe a little too hot for me without a drop of water. Lingering oaky finish more bitter than other wheaters. A ton better after two drops of water in it.
