Larceny Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch B522

Best Larceny yet. Drinks under proof. Smooth and sweet. I get less nuts on this batch.

Amber color, caramel nose, palate of wood, vanilla and caramel and a long lingering alcohol heavy finish consistent with its proof. I actually like it better straight than with a few drops of water surprisingly.

The description is pretty accurate here. Dark cherry, raisins, pepper, lemon, grass, a little bit of campfire. A drop of water brings out more malty, oak notes. Very rich and complex.

I drink all types and all I can say is for $59, this is delicious!! Nice soft cinnamon on the nose and just rich bourbon flavors on the palate. Great mouth feel. I don’t buy much Larceny, I tried the small batch once and it’s just ok for me. This is delicious!

Cherry candy all day! Not sure if this is better than C921 but it’s at least it’s equal. Larceny BP (the good ones) might be my favorite “available” bourbons, although ECBP is clearly great, too, with more traditional bourbon flavors.
