My first experience with Little Book. Contemplative bourbon. Fruity profile. There's a different note that I've not experienced before, and then it hit me: raspberry truffle. Like a Godiva raspberry truffle. The chocolate component is bourbonesque; the sweetness component is bourbonesque; but I've never gotten raspberry before in bourbon. There's a cool minty note (also bourbonesque), a little apple cider, and some dried orange. The 121.8 proof is well-integrated. I need to try this with some of the Booker's releases I have.
Would I buy this again? I received it as a gift from my girlfriend, but yes. It's very good. 4.5 on the Distiller scale.
Not all that much different from the 2025 Booker’s releases. Sweeter tasting notes and a long finish, this is what I would expect from Booker’s but it’s not different or better enough to justify buying it over one of the other 2025 Bookers releases.
