Michter's 10 Year Single Barrel Rye

Overall, was very underwhelmed by this bottle with how impossible it is to find. I enjoyed it, but nothing blew me away. It had all the flavors of a good rye, with a spicy lingering finish, but nothing made it stand out if I didnt see the bottle it came from.

Potent aroma of rye, mint, savory, dark fruits, plum, prune, vanilla, cola. Rich on the palate, sweet, exceptionally smooth, strong rye, caramel, mint, oak, vanilla. Minty rye finish with some pepper and wood.

Tried neat from my bottle with @Looneyhead on the nares its sweet, spicy, and creamy with notes of vanilla, gum, spearmint, xantham, honey. On the palate its spicy with notes of pepper, honey, mint, cream brulee, cinnamon. Definitely hits like a rye on that kentucky hug.

So far the best i've had. most complex. I'm sure there is many others better but i haven't had them yet.

Perfection. I even let a non-bourbon fan try it and they loved it. All day everyday, if I can get this I’m getting it.
