Old Grand-Dad Bonded Bourbon

Great value bourbon. Smells of maraschino cherries. Lots of typical bourbon flavour through the palate, brown sugar and vanilla. Finishes a little harsh. Still great value when price is factored in.

Good high rye bourbon for the price. Gets better as you drink the bottle.

Really great value with a nice balance of spice and sweetness. Vanilla, lite smokey spiciness. Good oily mouth feel

On the nose: Orange and oak with a bit of vanilla. Sipping: I tried this one with a single ice cube that melted into it. I pull a strong sweet corn flavor and a lot of oak as well. It finishes with more oak, a little bit of citrus and some spice. My roommate bought this but hated it. I think for $11 this is a great, no BS bourbon! Been sipping on Evan Williams single barrel recently and this competes well. I almost like this more. Probably updates to come.
