Nose: berries, floral, grapes Taste: raisins, berries, floral, figs. Very nice for the price

Perfectly fine Blanco. Terribly priced, but safe.

Nose of vanilla, green agave, celery, mint, and touches of wood and fresh bread. Slightly sharp and peppery on the palate, with lots of green herbal, minty, agave, and evergreen flavors, as well as citrus peel and a hint of sweet vanilla.

Best sipping tequila

September 16, 2021. From a 50 ml miniature. Half an ounce in a Glencairn glass. Nice agave herbal nose, pleasant on the palate, and as usual for me, the nose is more complex than on the palate. The palate is almost an afterthought. A very necessary afterthought, I’d add! Okay, readers, what I’m doing here is actually a side-by-each comparison of Patron Silver versus Don Julio Blanco. Nope, not a blind test, so not scientific whatsoever, but hey, y’know? After several small sippy-sips I’m gonna give the nod to Don Julio, but not by a lot. Just checked prices at the BC government store, and there is price fluctuation from time to time, but they’re both currently listed in the 750 ml at $79.99 CAD
