Redwood Empire Emerald Giant Rye

Love this one, the flavors are big and unique, nothing else like it.

Nose: Earthy, with some typical dry rye. Breath in to deep and the vapors will get you. Pallet: Heavy sage, thyme and pine Finish: Spicy but in a pleasant way. Hard to change to a different pour after this. Wonder if the other Redwood’s have this same unique profile?

Bold spice in the initial sip. Body is short and fades quickly. After taste lingers with a clean spearmint finish. It’s a younger rye. It it had more age I’d expect it to have a nice full body with more depth. As is, it’s a good buy for $30 but don’t expect much complexity

This is really nice! I expected spice but it's not - it's sweet. That said, it's not "too sweet". Good stuff!
