It's okay. Clove and black pepper. For the price and for me there are better ryes, like Rittenhouse and Russell. I overpaid in Maryland $60. It's half that in Virginia.

Nose: Pleasant and soft with vanilla Pallet: Hints of fruit up front and gets bitter on the back Finish: There is no odd finish like Bulleit Rye, this has a nice rye finish, just a touch of heat but does not finish as bitter/sour as you would expect.
