An intense, White Rum crafted from a blend of unaged column still rum from the Dominican Republic, with high ester pot still rum from Jamaica.
It has an aromatic birth with notes of sugar cane, fruits, flowers, herbs & spices; while a bold life adds notes of lemon zest, jasmine, honeysuckle, lemongrass; that led to a long & complex death with notes of white pepper & coriander.
To be honest, this is probably my first bottle of white rum that didn’t hold a naval title or didn’t come out of a plastic bottle. That said, this is a wonderful rum. Bottle presentation is a nice clean but retro 60s look. Taste is pretty citrusy with a hint of coconut maybe? It makes a great mai tai and looking forward to exploring more cocktails with this bottle.
Clear, thick legs. Chamomile, menthol, varnish. White pepper, lemongrass. Medium body, burn. Pleasantly floral; designed for mixing, but drinkable alone.
