Writers' Tears Copper Pot

Light. Lighter than I prefer, but it is smooth and sweet, and I'd almost consider "session-able".

Honey, vanilla, black pepper, cereal grain a touch smoke. A decent amount of burn, more a tingling on the tongue than a harahness in the throat. A slight unctuous quality lends to the mouthdeel but overall kind of thin. All in all, it’s tasty and I’m not disappointed I bought it. Probably wouldn’t purchase again but it has me wanting to try more Irish whiskeys to change it up from the usual bourbon or scotch.

Bought this based on a recomendation of staff at the LCBO who strongly recommended. For the price this was a very nice find. Smooth shipping with a strong presence in the throat. Nice sweet smell with a citrus nose. Add a touch of pine on the pallet makes for an enjoyable sipping drink.

Spicy with a taste of chocolate cookie.

Первое что в голову приходит - типичный ирландец, мягкий и медовый с нотками ванили, выпечкой и яблочно-цитрусовым ароматом. Сильно напоминает бурбон, но какой приятный аромат, дайте ему постоять минут 10. Это не чистый виски, это такой бленд из односолодового виски и виски из перегонного куба. Так что вполне может считаться отдельной категорией
