Weller Antique 107 Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 5, 2021 (edited February 21, 2021)For those new to bourbon please don’t blow a dumb amount of cash on this. It a good heavy hitting wheated bourbon. Full of cinnamon and spice. There is also plenty of alcohol on the nose and palate as this tends to show its age. Barrel picks tend to be the better options and some are even great. It is a solid bourbon that has become almost impossible to find and when you do people want insane amounts of cash for them. I would rate this a 4.5 star if it stayed at the 23 dollars it used to be a bottle. Cheers -

King of Kentucky 14 Year Bourbon (2020 Release)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 19, 2020 (edited December 24, 2021)So first off it was a cold night outside around a fire when this was tried. I couldn’t get much out of the nose but I think it had more to do with surroundings than bourbon. Upon first sip you can immediately tell it’s an ultra premium bourbon. Explodes with flavor and coats the mouth. It’s an oak bomb for sure. The finish is long and drying and takes you back for more. My only complaint is I would have liked a touch more sweetness out of it. It’s heavy on the oak and cinnamon with zero alcohol burn. It’s a damn fine drink and one I would never turn down. Cheers -
Wild Turkey Bourbon 101

Reviewed October 24, 2020 (edited February 19, 2021)It’s a damn fine bourbon. All the classic bourbon notes are there vanilla cherry oak. It’s the perfect mix of cheap and drinkable. Great home bar bottle because you can shoot it, mix it or sip it. I enjoy other turkey expressions more but this one will always be in the cabinet. Cheers -
Russell's Reserve Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed October 15, 2020 (edited March 4, 2021)This is damn fine juice. It’s oaky and sweet with just a hint of that turkey funk. Great coating mouthfeel. I love the regular single barrel but if you find a private selection some of those are just outstanding. Finish is medium to long with cinnamon and baking spices. Cheers! -
