Old Camp Peach Pecan Whiskey
Flavored Whiskey — USA
Reviewed December 8, 2019 (edited October 15, 2020)Oaky color with a hint of orange. The peach really comes through in the aroma. The peach also is the dominant flavor and slightly sweet. There are some nutty notes, but hard to identify them as pecan. Nice mouth feel. The peach really lingers. Overall pleasant. Would be really nice in the summer when you’re looking for something fruity. -
Light yellow color. The floral notes in the aroma take the lead with some oak in the background.slightly sweet at first, but yields to bitterness and some grassy notes. Some oak, spice and smoke notes as well. Finishes a bit more bitter than I would like. I feel like a little more age would serve this Scotch well.

Golden color, aroma is slightly sweet with strong cinnamon. The cinnamon flavor is very strong which really dominates the flavor profile. Some oak comes through in the background. Yes it is sweet for a whiskey, but I didn’t think excessively since it is a flavored whiskey. I liked it, but you have to be in the mood for what it is. If you love the atomic fireball candy you will like this, if you don’t you won’t.

Hochstadter's Slow & Low Rock & Rye (84 Proof)
Rye — (BOTTLED IN) Scobeyville, New Jersey, USA
Reviewed December 3, 2019 (edited November 13, 2020)Wow, different color than any whisky I’ve had. A grayish blue color. Aroma is slightly sweet with spice notes in the background. Starts off very sweet for a whiskey, but mellows pleasantly. The alcohol comes through strong. The spices are there, but blend together nicely. Having a hard time making up my mind about this one. One second I love it and the next I hate it. In some ways it reminds me of drambuie, not the same but playing so similar notes. -
