appearance: reddish caramel. nose: leather, oak, slight spice taste: fruity sweetness, cinnamon, dark chocolate, dark cherry. cola lingers. smooth. finish: longer than expected. cinnamon. the eucalyptus from buffalo trace products shines here with an herbal excellent value, interesting low rye product with lingering spice. not sugary sweet like larceny or weller. beautiful bottle, wellmade product. must have in bar

nose is fruit sweetness upfront, but not confectioner sweetness that i normally get from wheaters. taste is sweet for a flash and then quickly clove spice, anise, and lots of maple. finish is longer than expected for such a thin mouthfeel. very smooth. preferred alternative over makers and larceny which are in same price range.

nose: overwhelming latex, pine, dissipates slightly to ripe banana. taste: nutmeg, charred oak, dark cherry. heavy in mouth. caramel finish: lingering warm mint, grapefruit, rind. water: brings out caramel, some chocolate. latex persists. very young bourbon but different enough to try. millet is not spicy as rye, but not overly sweet. tried in chicago, good to support local

neat, in a rocks glass nose: multivitamins, minerals, cinnamon, fruit taste: caramel, thin mouthfeel, mild leather, sweet brown sugar finish: more vitamins, clove, light chocolate and more brown sugar disappointing in general, very odd mineral notes throughout which are offputting for most. overrated for me but unique flavor that's worth a try once

nose: chlorine somehow initially, but quickly gives way to good carmel, cherry, light strawberry jam, light cloves taste: smoother than others in Beam line, faint butterscotch, fruit sweetness. water brings pleasant citric/pineapple note. thick mouthfeel, luxurious. some alcohol burn but feels in line with thickness so not a surprise. finish: not as long as expected. fruits and dull cocao excellent pickup at $20, preferred over black and devils cut. a little fruitier than knob creek (also from beam) and less nutty. must have in bar
