Smooth but very bland

Nose: fruit, campfire, marshmallow Palate: grass, smoke, caramel Finish: medium, more caramel

Nose: baking spices, fruits, eucalyptus, graham crackers Palate: caramel, rye spice, char Finish: cocoa, cinnamon, citrus, oak This is 60% abv?!? Incredibly smooth and rich.

Nose: cherry, oak Palate: vanilla, cherry, oak, sugar Finish: brown sugar, cherry, cola More cherry flavor than ideal for me but still a nice full flavored bourbon.

Nose: vanilla, floral, orange peel Palate: baking spices, smoke, earth, cream Finish: medium - peat, brown sugar Well integrated flavors, but could use a little more peat smoke. Nice complexity - very solid for the price. It’s like a better version of Bowmore 12.

Nose: seaweed, peat Palate: caramel, berries, light smoke Finish: caramel, pepper Was expecting more peat/smoke. Not bad but overall just seems to be a more muted version of Talisker 10. Edit: second try in a rocks glass (instead of glencairn) brings out more peat smoke. Go figure

Nose: honey, seaweed, charcoal Palate: more honey, citrus, smoke Finish: cream, oak, peat Honey is a big flavor here which I’m not a huge fan of but it’s a nice whisky overall. Would love to pair it with a mild cigar.

Nose: brown sugar, caramel apples Palate: butter, baking spices, oily mouthfeel Finish: cinnamon, citrus Bought this by mistake originally looking for the barrel strength version. Pleasantly surprised though. Nice spicy bourbon that makes a killer maple old fashioned and is also enjoyable to sip neat alongside Christmas cookies.

A bit one dimensional but opens up with some water. Caramel, peanuts, and brown sugar.

Nose: caramel Palate: vanilla, cinnamon, orange Finish: moderately long, more spice Solid inexpensive bourbon. The orange-ey notes make this a nice summer bourbon.
