Nose- spiced vanilla, apricot, leather, plum, ethanol Palate- citrus, leather, vanilla, bit of caramel, toasted oak Finish- Surprisingly short finish of oak and a bit of leather Very short finish, which is it’s main downfall. It’s alright, especially for the availability and price. Much better cask strength bourbons out there, and for much cheaper. Would be great in a cocktail, but not a fan of it neat. Nothing crazy, wouldn’t buy another bottle.

Elmer T. Lee Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 26, 2020 (edited March 28, 2020)Nose- maple syrup, vanilla, apple pie sprinkled with cinnamon , caramel Palate- apple pie, cinnamon, baking spices, vanilla ice cream Finish- Long, chewy and drying finish with notes of toasted oak and caramel apples Great bourbon. Like a fresh apple pie dusted with cinnamon. Great finish. Very balanced and could drink this every day. Fantastic all around and would pour this for anyone just getting into bourbon. Amazing for MSRP, secondary is meh. This would be my daily drinker by a mile if I could consistently find it. -
Wild Turkey Master's Keep Revival
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 26, 2020 (edited July 15, 2020)Nose- strawberry, dark fruit, buttered cornbread, milk chocolate, creamy, caramel, vanilla Palate- strawberry jam, vanilla cream, maple syrup, baking spices, burnt caramel Finish- Long, oily finish with notes of oak and sweet sherry Really nice and complex bourbon. Unique flavors from the sherry cask gives it some nice dark fruit and strawberry flavors. MSRP is a bit high, but it’s a very unique aged bourbon so it makes sense. -
Nose- honey, butterscotch, pineapple, peaches, caramel vanilla Palate- honey, mango, guava jelly, butterscotch, peaches, light berries, vanilla Finish- Short, creamy finish with notes of berries and honey Great whisky. Extremely balanced and tasty. Nice tropical fruit notes on the nose, palate and finish. While the finish is short, it’s still very enjoyable.

Nose- confectioners sugar, caramel, vanilla toffee, brown sugar, candied ginger, peaches, musty oak, cherries. Super complex nose Palate- burst of cinnamon candies coated in sugar initially, leading to caramel, dark cherries, plums, candied ginger, brown sugar, dry wood, old leather, vanilla, tobacco, a whole bouquet of flavors... the list goes on and on. Finish- incredibly long, drying finish with notes of cinnamon spice, heavy oak, vanilla, caramel, fresh fruits... the list goes on and on. Just like the palate One of the most complex whiskies that i’ve tried. A true masterpiece of bourbon. No complaints whatsoever. Perfect balance and drinks way below its proof.

Weller Antique 107 Single Barrel
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 26, 2020 (edited March 16, 2020)Weller Antique 107 (All-star Liquors SP): Nose- cinnamon, cherries, caramel, brown sugar, honey, apples Palate- cinnamon hard candies, spiced vanilla, cinnamon-sugar covered apples, caramel, bit of bubble gum Finish- Medium, spicy finish with notes of cinnamon and sweets Initially wasn’t a huge fan of this bottle. After about a month it opened up into something great. Nose is good, palate is better- with a medium finish that last a good while and a good amount of complexity to it. -
Nose- heavy oak, orange zest, burnt caramel, honey, plums, spiced vanilla Palate- Heavy and bold oak (but not overpowering), caramel, spices, honey, mint, vanilla Finish- Long, viscous finish with notes of heavy oak and slight vanilla I’ll start off by saying this is a very balanced bourbon for being 18 years old, while this is good, it also makes this bourbon pretty simple. It primarily smells and taste of oak- but not in an overpowering way. Oak is present throughout, but other flavors flash in and out the longer it sits on my palate. Long finish but not as complex as I would like. There are better bourbons out there- especially for the money.

Nose- honeydew, malt, honey, macadamia nuts, pineapple, banana, orange, like a basket of fruits Palate- Malty, buttery graham crackers, malt, orange peel, vanilla, oak, ginger spice Finish- Medium, full bodied finish with malt throughout and hints of fruits and oak Beautiful nose, complex and full bodied on taste. Malty goodness- reminds me of a highland scotch with a bit more fruity notes. A bit overpriced, but if I could get it at msrp, I would buy a bottle.

Rock Hill Farms Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 26, 2020 (edited February 19, 2020)Nose- salted caramel, dark fruits, raspberries , dusty oak, and cinnamon Palate- raspberries, salted caramel, oak, dark chocolate, light cocoa Finish- long, oily finish with notes of caramel and cocoa powder A very balanced bourbon, and moderately complex. Has a long, tasty finish. I can’t help but to be disappointed with this one due to the hype. Still an above average bourbon though. At $50-60 for msrp I wouldn’t pass up buying this- but 150 for it is a little much -
