    This is a beautiful Whisky! I blind tasted it first and I couldn’t figure out what it was: a Bourbon? an Irish Whiskey? It was complex and smooth, lightly sweet, toasty, vanilla and spices.

    That “infamous” bourbon that we all love to hate because it’s actually delicious… Yes. It is hyped up and it can be overpriced in some markets but, it is still quite good.

    St-Rémy reinvented? It’s an interesting expression, definitely more oaky and fruity, displaying a more youthful character. A little conflicted though… It’s a “premium” product but, also intended for cocktails while carrying a price tag higher than the traditional expressions.

    A very fragrant, floral and spicy mezcal. At 45%, it packs some character but, it’s actually pretty smooth and tasty. It shows good quality and craftsmanship accompanied by an inspiring backstory.

    Delicious, better than dessert! Certainly sweet and mellow but well structured. We shared a bottle among several people with different interests and everyone loved it. Perhaps, that’s the only fault, to be a bit of a crowd-pleaser?

    I am not so sure about this one… I think that it was a decent “Bourbon”? Definitely not what I would expect from a Scotch. It did lack refinement and depth. I tried it neat and on the rocks but, I couldn’t even make it halfway the bottle. Perhaps, it’s just a matter of style and taste so, give it a try, you might love it!

    What is this exactly? As an experiment, anything goes but, at around $50 CAD, this is nonsense. Buy yourself a decent tequila or whisky, or the cheapest of the two that you can find and mix them up yourself.
