Super smokey peaty aroma, but with a sweetness that reminds me of barbeque. Peat dominates the flavor, but it's very rich which carries it well. Long wonderful tail, sweetness undertones to the huge peat kick. Love this. Paired with something lightly spicy (in my case cinnamon tarragon beets) took this all the way up to five stars. Maybe a touch of spice was all I was missing.

Dark complex aroma, wood and sweet. Absolutely fantastic. Same on the tongue, maybe some fruit. Wonderfully rich, medium-long tail, wood spice lingers, light butterscotch sweetness remains. I have trouble nailing specific flavors but it's absolutely phenomenal.

Rich sweet barley aroma. Smells complex and aged. Sweet fruit at first, then builds into wood and some spice burn. Medium high richness, nice and creamy. It's got great balance, but a little mellow, with more kick it would be fantastic.

Deep dark spicy aroma. Rye but with a rich sweetness as well. A little bit of caramel toffee sweetness but then huge rush of spice. Rye overpowers everything, might be some citrus in there. The richness carries it.

Deep musty aroma. Almost grassy. Same dark flavor that's hard to place. Bread or yeast? There's something dark underneath that gives it complexity. A little strange but good. Rich medium tail.

Deep bold oak flavors, super strong. Dark, almost musty. Rich fiery flavor that melts into deep spice and wood. Fantastic. Still a touch of that mustiness on the tail but its enjoyable, aged.

Aroma is strawberry and cream, super sweet and fruity. Flavor is light and a touch sour, a good body but flavor doesn't live up to the aroma. Good blends, notes are too sharp for me.

Smells like chocolate , deep and rich. Chocolate nand coffee flavors, excellently blended. Flavors are complex and bold, body and tail are all balanced perfectly. One of those whiskies where everything works perfectly together. Fantastic.

Spicy mild aroma, light baking spices, cloves and nutmeg. Light sweet flavor, hard to place. Mostly vanilla sweetness, excellently balanced with richness and creaminess.

Sugar cane sweetness and wood on the nose. Smells rich and amazing. Flavor is a light barley sweetness that melts into oak. Classic Macallan taste, well done.
