Tastes

Very strong aroma, lots of smoke. Slight hint of a sweeter barbeque but it's barely there. Flavor is strong and rich, smoke the dominant flavor but also with heavy spice. Plenty of richness to carry it, excellently blended. As the smoke fades the spice rises and lingers forever. Love it.

Complex wood aroma. Wood fire and spice on the tongue, pretty rich and incredibly spicy. Love the strength of it. There is fruit sweetness underneath but for me it shows up more on the tail strangely enough. Excellent.

Char and campfire on the nose, smoke over peat. Rich and fiery, but a little too strong. Initial smoke hit turns into alcohol burn and spice that flare up way too much for me. Well made and I do enjoy it, but a little overboard on the kick

Super strong peat smell, but also subtle sweetness with it too. Strange combination. It tastes absolutely like ardbeg, just a little sweeter, sweetness from fruit I think. Still rich, peaty, and wonderful with an excellent tail.

Strong wood and spice aroma, huge kick. Same flavors on the tongue, tail feels long for the medium body, spice comes in hard there and almost gets a little harsh at the end. There's a subtle caramel sweetness underneath a of it, but it takes a backseat. That spice kick is the only thing I don't like.

Subtle aroma, dark and Woody. Maybe some toffee. Pretty light body, good oak and spice in the tongue, excellent toffee flavors. Only issue is the body, a bit of richness would carry this well

Aroma is definitely barbeque. Deep mesquite sweetness with a tint of smoke. Oak flavors on the tongue and then the charred barbeque hits, super clear. Interesting, not what I'm looking for in a whiskey but if you love barbeque this is for you.

Light sweet aroma, I can tell the hops are in there. There's a tangy sweetness too, almost like tequila. Lots of flavors going on, vanilla and baking spices, and a citrus hoppy tail.

Plenty of oak and alcohol burn on the nose. Deep spicy wood flavor, pretty dry. The spice is maybe cinnamon medium to light body, I'm not getting the richness, but the cinnamon pops more on the tail. Excellent fall or winter whiskey.

Super winey sweet aroma. Rich body, pretty sweet. Very light flavors, lighter tropical fruits. Long spicy tail, peppery and herbal. Very nice.
