Aroma: oak, lovely wafers, buttered toffee, banana, citrus peel, mint. Taste: graham cracker and maple syrup are the main notes along with a soothing vanilla, with other notes of molasses, barrel char, and cereal grains. Finish: transitions nicely with mint and spices, with warm cinnamon, vanilla, and cloves refreshing the palette upon each sip.

Aroma: spices, brown sugar, spearmint, sweet vanilla, oak, cinnamon, maple syrup, toast, and char. Taste: hot cinnamon and spices, spearmint, brown sugar, raisins, dates, pepper, vanilla, and perhaps some birthday cake. Has a nice kick from the alcohol. Finish: cinnamon transits to a smooth, relaxing vanilla and spices warmly tingle the tongue. I like this bourbon quite a lot for such a well-known brand. Has a lot of personality and action on the palette and overall.

Nose: Quite a strong aroma, really perfumey and herbal. Rye, tobacco, dill, honey, oak, and peaches are the main notes. Other notes include varnish, raspberries, and a citrus peel. Taste: Much like the aroma, although I can taste some smoke and different spices. Finish: Slight burn but altogether has a very strong (if not overwhelming) body from the florescence and perfume. Turns tart on the palette.

Nose: oak barrel char, strong alcohol scent, hot cinnamon, leather, vanilla, candy-corn, and brown sugar. Taste: Much like the nose. Charred oak barrel, some subtle chocolate, spices, cinnamon, leather, buttery caramel, tobacco. Interestingly, the candy-corn and vanilla play a key part together for the sweet side, while the other notes help give the strong alcohol a dynamic kick on the other side. Finishes with that lovely charred barrel and spices. Overall, has an excellent spicy character and such a great collection of different notes on the palette and finish.

Smell: Oak, cherries, chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla, raisins, dried fruit, powdered sugar, apples. Taste: sweet tasting corn, fine oak, some subtle spices, apples, vanilla, sourdough bread. Feels and tastes kind of syrupy, but altogether aromatic, full, rich, and sweet. It goes without saying that this is a really good 10 year bourbon for such a low price.
