Laphroaig Triple Wood
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed November 9, 2018 (edited March 1, 2022)Classic Laphroaig peat bomb, peat on the nose, the palate and finish. As soon as you take a sip peat coats your mouth, hard to detect any sherry influence to be honest. Second sip is different, some faint sweetness in the background. Added 2 drops of water but still no sherry :p. I will let my bottle sit for some weeks and get back to you guys!90.0 CAD per BottleMontreal -
Clynelish 14 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed November 9, 2018 (edited November 13, 2019)Wow, this is some oily Scotch, long legs in my glass and very mouth coating! I get a lot of cinnamon on the palate, reminds me a bit of Spice tree from Compass Box. I can feel a light peat tingling but it's very subtle. Nice finish as well, solid 4 stars for me, cheers!80.0 CAD per BottleMontreal -
Tobermory 10 Year
Single Malt — Islands, Scotland
Reviewed November 9, 2018 (edited January 24, 2019)Very crisp and fresh, a big hit of sweet and sour green apples on the palate, a little touch of salt shows up on the finish which is medium long. If you like Arran you will enjoy this, cheers!65.0 CAD per BottleMontreal
