This one is growing on me! At first I was a bit under whelmed but right now I'm enjoying this more and more. Dark ripe, even over ripe fruits on the palate. Musky even. Port is powerful, you can taste it. It really transformed this Scotch. Cheers amigos

Good old Ardbeg 10, what a classic! Smoked salty fish on the nose, one of a kind. On the palate you find sweet and smokey bbq meat with sea salt sprinkled on top. This is one of my all time favorite Islay single malts,cheers amigos!

This dram is really something special. A real spice bomb, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger. it tastes like fancy pastry in a glass. Compass box is doing great things, check it out if you can! Cheers fellow addicts

I see we can finally give proper star ratings here on Distiller, great development! This is a good budget Talisker, classic taste profile, brine, salty licorice, mild smoke and some sweetness. Nothing very memorable, still decent.

First impression, just opened this bottle tonight with my dad. Very high quality, refreshing and clean, amazing balance. First impression is great, I will get back to you guys with something more! Cheers

This dram packs so much flavor, I'm a bit intimidated. I get a little peat on the nose, very faint though. On the palate it's very fresh and clean, almost minerally. Sweet, sour, salty, an overload of different tastes. This just feels like a quality dram and it is, can' t wait for this bottle to improve over time! Cheers amigos!

It's my 30th birthday today, had to open a special bottle for sure! Went with the batch 009 of this one. Wow, just wow! You can smell this dram from across the room. So powerful and freaking delicious! This blows a lot of Islays out of the park. Heavy peat, salted carmel, brine, spicyness, just simply incredible! Cheers my friends!

This bottle got better and better over time! The sherry influence got stronger towards the end but it kept the very fresh and crisp slightly sour Arran signature flavor! They're making some craft quality stuff over at Arran, I recommend this distillery highly! Cheers

I never suspected this whisky to be so sherry influenced. Just stick your nose up you Glencairn and you get deep rich dark fruits. I don't get any light peat until the finish. There's a very faint maritime quality on the finish as well. This Scotch really suprised me, I love drams like that! Cheers

I forgot I had a bottle of this stucked away in storage. For the price pretty OK, sweet rye flavors, not very spicy though. Missing a bit of the usual punch because of the low ABV. Perfect to see if you like ryes.
