Rye — (bottled in) Utah, USA
Reviewed November 13, 2021 (edited July 1, 2022)Nose - Caramel apple, vanilla, honeydew, light melon, light milk chocolate, spring meadow. Palate - Caramel green apple. Vanilla chip. Sugar plum. Slight oak but a sweet oak. Blueberry. Raspberry. Finish - Perfect finish for a rye. Its so subtle and sweet with a bit of char. Incredible -
Nose - Salted Baked dulce de leche. Freshly baked bread. Light vanilla, like a whipped cream. More of a unique, bakery nose. Palate - Insanely sweet and fruity. Grape, apple, oak, baked bread. The same whip cream follows through. After rolling it around, some baked caramel comes through, but baked into a pastry. Finish - Finish isn’t very long but pleasant. The same baked bread keeps coming, like breathing in a bakery. Little bit of barrel spice but not enough to be spicy. Very comfortable!

Mouth feel is thick following that caramel chew. The spice is lovely and comfortable while being punchy. Butterscotch. Finish - Leather and warm kentucky hug. Really perfect finish. Long finish. -

Palate - Still creamy but strong vanilla. Very mild and smooth. Its a lighter glass of Blanton’s with a hint of cherry Finish - So incredibly mild due to the proof. Pretty much no finish. **Great if you like lower proof stuff -

Palate - Cinnamon. A lot of heat. Barrel heat. More oak and vanilla. Creme brûlée. Super velvety on the mouthfeel, making it feel and taste like a very creamy ice cream.
