Pecan pie at the end. Palate - Straight cinnamon at first. Then comes a wave of herbs and pepper. The savory continues all the through. This is pretty much a thanksgiving dinner and its great. Prav Square 7 Year Pick, 104.86 proof Nose - Caramel and Cherry bomb. Slight oakiness that is complimented by a little vanilla. Even some random light floral notes here and there. Some dark chocolate also comes out, tied in the caramel notes. This nose is full of a lot of notes, proving to be very complex. Some peanut butter, like a reeses comes to life after opening up. Palate - Oak oak oak. Got some oak then some more oak. Haha, hints of cherry and vanilla compliment the oak. Some leather seeps through towards the finish, but starts on the mid palate. Bitter cocoa bits follow through, as to be paired with this pour. Has a light whipped cream mouthfeel. Finish - Lots of leather and cinnamon. The heat is comfy and not overwhelming.

Maker's Mark Private Selection Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 28, 2022 (edited October 29, 2022)Five Star Wine and Liquor President’s Day Pick Nose - Bright candied cherry. Like as if maraschino cherries sat in the barrel. Slight hint of leather very bright oakiness. Hints of vanilla. Little bit of toasted char. Palate - More leather, more oak, and an addition of walnuts. The walnut flavor is subtly sweet giving illusions to candied walnuts. The feel is very bright and light, careful not to overburden your mouth with so much denseness. Toasted sugar is also there, like eating just the top of a creme bru le. Minimals amount of caramel here and there. Finish - Finish is warm, near perfect for where a finish should be….in my opinion. It lasts for a moderate time and provides this comfortable warmth in you. On the way down it is complimented with more hints of leather, oak, and vanilla. -
