Tastes

Aroma is hot but you can take a deep inhale. Aroma of vanilla, spice (nutmeg?) and molasses. Flavor mostly matches with something savory as well. Incredibly smooth, wonderful.

Notes of caramel, vanilla, and cinnamon. A little hot but worth it.

Batch C918. It's hot, but under that is rich brown sugar, vanilla, and a hint of caramel in the nose. The flavor matches although I don't get the caramel as much and there is maybe a hint of pepper in the upper palate mixed in with the alcohol heat that lingers there. It is a wonderful bourbon.

Sweet brown sugar and a hint of spice in the nose, smooth, a little thin but some mild heat, flavor mostly matches, maybe a little more towards caramel, very subtle spice, toward cinnamon but not quite.

Lots of brown sugar and a hint of vanilla in the nose, flavor is similar with a hint of pepper in the finish and some alcohol heat. Definitely warms the chest but goes down smooth.

The nose is not as hot as you might expect but there is some heat, also some spice and maybe some red fruit and a hint of vanilla. Flavors of caramel, I can imagine leather and tobacco, and a hint of cherry. Warming but not overly hot.

Spicy with some caramel, reminds me a little of the Willett pot still. Some nice upper palate alcohol heat and warming in the chest that lingers.

Oak, smokey, very smooth, slightly sweet, a little alcohol heat on the upper palate, very yummy.

Extremely smooth, burst of alcohol that dissipates quickly leaving rich caramel notes, pepper.

Leather, caramel, very lively alcohol heat on the upper palate, very warming in the finish. Smooth, coats the mouth and the rich flavors linger.
