Tastes

Meaty and smokey with hints of rubber (like tires) before giving way to over-ripe peaches. Once you're acclimated to the smoke it's actually quite sweet.

Not very sweet, heavy on rye spice. Didn't enjoy it neat, we ended up using it generally as a mixer.

Much more malt-forward than Jameson, which I happen to generally prefer more. I don't dislike it, but it's a bit boring. In the Bushmills family, think the Red Bush is better.

Tastes 90% the same as regular (white label) Bushmills. It is a bit rounder though, no sharpness. There is something else there, maybe a bit more vanilla, which is likely an influence from the bourbon barrels.

Doesn't taste 50%, there is no real burn to it. Oaky and herbal on the nose. A little spicy on the taste but mainly sweet and oaky and a little nutty. Got it on clearance for $10 and think it's a steal.

Rye and baking spices with no hints of licorice or dill like I've had in some other ryes. Easy to sup but also great in Manhattans.

Lots of vanilla.
