Tastes

Sweet and fruity nose. The flavor profile is sweet as well. There is a little oak in the mid palate and then pear and vanilla. The body is a little thin. It could use a little spice to balance it.

Honey and oaky notes on the nose. The initial taste is like a snickerdoodle. There is some caramel and spice that comes in next. A bit of honey comes in at the finish.

Floral nose. There is some sweetness like Swedish Fish candies mixed with baking spices. The finish is medium and warm. Not bad.

Peach and lemon on the nose. Tropical fruits on the initial taste. It slides into smooth caramel mixed with cinnamon. There is a hint of vanilla as the caramel fades into the finish.

A spicy nose with some tropical fruit notes. The spice jumps right to the front but is balanced quickly with some mild sweet notes - honey, then caramel, then vanilla. The mild spices rest on the tongue thru a medium finish. On the spicy side throughout, but well balanced overall.

Strong vanilla notes on the nose. Vanilla and caramel greet the palate and quickly transition into a spicy balance. There is a blend of caramel and cinnamon in the finish which is medium and pleasant. There are even some floral notes that tease the senses. Well balanced. Very pleasant and smooth. If you see this, get it!

Caramel and sweet nose. The initial taste is sweet and quickly has some spice in the mid palate. The finish is long and has a nice blend of butterscotch, cinnamon and sherry. Very good!

Cherry and vanilla on the nose. The taste is cherry vanilla and butterscotch. There is a well balanced spice that lingers thru to the finish. This is awesome. Especially for the price.

Cherry and caramel on the nose. Has a creamy mouthfeel like butterscotch. Has some spiciness in the mid palate that lingers thru a medium finish. Not as good as the reserve, but definitely getting more of this.

The nose is cherry and raisin. The port finishing comes thru in the taste. The heat from the ABV comes on quickly and lingers thru a long finish. A little water opens it up. You can get past the cinnamon heat and sense some vanilla and heather. I’ll be buying more of this!!
