I get baked goods on the nose - maybe oatmeal raisin? Turns into cake with the initial taste, transitions to peach and oak. Vanilla and cinnamon highlight the finish. A very pleasant Irish whisky. One I’d be proud to serve in my home bar.

You can smell the sherry which is really nice. There is also vanilla and grape in there. Vanilla and spice come to the fore with the taste. There are some floral notes that play in the background that morph into candied fruit before finishing on a green grape note. The spice lingers all the way through to the finish. If this had a little creamier mouthfeel, I’d give it a 10!

There is a sweet and spicy middle. There are some floral notes that fades into a mild spiced finish that lingers. Similar to the best whiskies out of Taiwan. On the sweeter side, but we’ll balanced overall.

Sherry notes and an autumn campfire greet the nose. Dark cherries, vanilla, oak and cinnamon are prominent on the palate. There is some alcohol burn with this. Found this at Little Toasted in Chicago. Could be very toasted by the time this one is done.

This is extremely well balanced. There is spice and vanilla in the nose. The palate is creamy with butterscotch, dark chocolate and baking spices. There are some wood notes (probably oak but maybe cedar) in the mid palate. The finish is long with cinnamon, cherry and honey. Be careful! This 120 proof but doesn’t feel like it.

Honey and butterscotch are on the nose and the initial palate. Vanilla cones next with some mint and cinnamon. Nicely balanced.

Tropical fruits and spice on the nose. These translate to the palate as well. It is pleasantly sweet. The sherry notes in the finish make a nice balance.

Some herbs and lemon zest on the nose. There are herbs and butterscotch and some other fruits in the initial taste. There is some cocoa and lemon in the mid palate. A little cinnamon joins these flavors into a medium finish.

Citrus and oak on the nose. The taste is caramel and butterscotch with a little pepper in the finish. The body is thin and doesn’t linger. If you find it, buy it!

Sweet nose. Notes of heather and spice greet the palate. The malty sweetness is balanced by just the right amount of spice that keeps it from being cloying. There is a creamy middle and finish. The body is light.
