Only 6500 bottles were ever produced??? Sad... Really great whisky - it's fruity and aromatic, with pear and vanilla on the nose. Palate has notes of cereal and sugar, like Frosted Flakes (AKA my favorite breakfast cereal). The finish has hints of cacao nibs. The texture is oily with a finish that is fairly long. If you can get past its well-hydrated urine-like color and the fact that getting your hands on this thing requires the services of Dog The Bounty Hunter... we're taking about excellent stuff here.

SOLID, solid stuff! The nose is fresh and aromatic, with hints of apples and wax. The palate has toasted barley, some oak and a touch of ginger. The finish is fairly long and well-balanced. I'm not saying you should hunt this one down, but if you come across it and the price is right... by all means buy it.

I have no clue what the hell a Muckle Flugga is - can't be Gaelic / sounds like a name cooked by Jim Henson - but it was surprisingly delicious. There's oak and vanilla on the nose (bourbon), with honey and carnation on the palate. It's balanced but weak, and the low ABV hinders. Still not bad. Cheers!
