Caramel and rye spice, balanced sweetness,; its a good rye

Nose is rye, baking spice, oak, and vanilla; tons of rye spice, baking spice, vanilla, oak, and a little bit of jam; long finish of baking spice and a little burnt caramel; fairly hot; thick

Nose is smoke, peat, and mesquite barbecue; complex taste of caramel, hickory smoke, orange peel, roasted meat, and barley; a little hot; thick texture; long, clean finish with hickory smoke, and saline

Nice nose of petrichor, apple, and floral; not a ton of flavor, but some notes of green apple, pear, and oak; medium texture, low burn, and rather dry, especially for a Japanese whisky; finish is short with oak and grass

Massive red apple nose; flavor is all red apple with some oak; very smooth with little burn; thinner texture; very quick finish with just a little oak; definitely two-note, but really good

Caramel and oak nose; big vanilla, oak, and caramel flavor; mild spice; medium texture; burnt caramel finish; very good and straightforward flavor, but definitely not worth the price and rarity.

Nose of port (interestingly) and a little vanilla; not a lot of flavor—some oak, malt, and a hint of vanilla; a little heat, medium texture; finish is dusty and a little oak; no salt or brine I’d hoped for from the cool concept; really just not much flavor overall

Nutty nose with walnut and pecan and some oak; lots of corn, caramel, and a little nuttiness; pretty smooth with a little burn; medium finish with oak, vanilla, and heat; medium texture with some mouth coating unctuousness with a big sip; certainly not worth the price, but good and nutty

Sherry bomb, not much else; a little heat
