Insanely good. Nose is super interesting with butter pecan ice cream, but on fire; had a complex, rich campfire taste with notable vegetal notes in addition to peaty, semi-savory barley flavor; texture is thick and oily; there is a decent heat to it; finish is long and peaty. Fucking brilliant.

Points for uniqueness with a prominent kettle corn, butter, almost eggy note; not rye burn, but has the spiciness with maybe a little nutmeg and eggnog finish

Like talisker 10, but a little better

Massive sherry and red wine nose; dry, sherry, oak, and little bit of caramel; mild heat; medium texture; short finish with oak and some marker nuttiness; the nose is the best part, but it is solid and a lot of sherry

Huge vanilla nose with a little oak; smooth af vanilla and crème brûlée crème with the perfect amount of smoke; nice medium texture, very smooth with a little heat; quick finish with oak, port, and caramel; fantastic, exactly what I’d hope for from an older talisker

Nose with caramel, pears, and a little peat; Tons of sherry, oak, and some tobacco and smoke; long finish with peat and sherry; smooth with a little burn on the finish; thick

Baked apple, honey, walnut nose; tons of stone fruit, brown sugar, and crème brûlée; long, smooth finish with dry apple pie, oak, and burnt sugar; thicc, very smooth, rather sweet

Nose is baking spice, oak, and a little cedar and blackberry; rye spice, oak, walnut; medium finish with rye spice and some pastry; smooth, not very sweet; medium texture
