Tastes

Great notes of vanilla, spice, caramel, fruits. Good texture and mouth feel. I get some molasses notes. The malt shines through as well and you get a sweet barley on the nose at times.

It's malty. Light, sweet, floral, fruity. Honey, vanilla. I had batch 20/109.

It's certainly unique, toasty, briny, burnt and sour finish. Some fruit notes sneak through. Takes getting used to.

Its sweet, vanilla and toffee. Slight coffee cream note. It's really tasty but not overly complex. Great budget Canadian for the price.

First impression. On the nose was cherry cola, menthol, rye spice, slightly dry and dusty. On the taste there is almost no burn, good mouth feel, its sweet, cherry cola again, lightly peppery. The finish is medium, with dark fruit, and a little drying. Overall this is really enjoyable and unique from other ryes I have tried.

Sweet vanilla icing on the nose, red grape, light spice. First thing hitting the palate is the sweet icing which moves quick to fruity and spicy notes. Finish is some oak spice and floral notes.

Getting fruit on the nose with a little singe from the smoke along with some menthol note. Palate is a bit zesty and fresh. Fruit with some caramel or butterscotch. A little spice from the peat and smokeyness. The finish is short to medium.
