Wilderness Trail Bottled in Bond Single Barrel Bourbon (Wheated Bourbon)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed June 18, 2021 (edited January 1, 2022)A rising star in bourbon. Rich and round flavors, sweet but with good spice balance. I also have a barrel proof that is fantastic. I gotta try the 6yr BiB next. Love this stuff. #DAD -
Nose: sweet but savory. A bit confusing at first, there is a char/smoke note leaning toward BBQ, burnt brown sugar, slightly dry and herbal Taste: sweet, cinnamon, hint of a fruit note but not getting enough to pinpoint anything. Finished dry, dusty oak, but nothing about this is overly woody at all Definitely a nice bourbon and offers some nice differences from many others Only paid $60 for 1L which is nice too.60.0 USD per Bottle
