Wonderful nose … vanilla dominates for me. Maybe some marshmallow. Nothing off putting and no ethanol. On the taste, sweetness of vanilla bit of caramel and honey. Not a long finish … in fact a bit short but nice mouth feel. Get a tad of bitterness on the end, but that could be due to some other pours I’ve had earlier. So a bit of a lower rating I would normally give due to that.

This is the Women in Whisky 2021 pick . This one has really opened up nicely. Was not a fan on my first try, but the profile has definitely improved. 100 proof. I don’t get any significant OF banana notes on this … maybe ever so slight. Sweeter on the nose than OF100. Definitely drinks stronger than OF100 as it’s MUCH more peppery and spice in the taste and finish … a bit too much as it’s overwhelming other notes. Very nice warming finish with that normal bit of cherry. Definitely an improvement.

This is very enjoyable. Very classic notes on both the nose and tastes and drinks at a higher proof than in the 80s but in a good way. Nice warming finish and some great spice given the high rye nature. Just a tad thin and not complex, but for the proof the viscous nature holds up. It’s not complex at all but this should have wide appeal and very approachable. One that should be in the bar because of that. Enjoyable.

Extremely mild on the nose. Slight tobacco notes. Decent mouth feel. Not a classic bourbon taste … getting notes of some wood and earth but in a pleasant way. Not especially sweet so definitely a nice change of pace drink. Short finish.

Very nice nose. Classic notes with a touch of oak. Quite pleasant. Excellent mouth feel…pretty viscous. Taste is a fuller version of OF100. That proof definitely pulls through but in a really good way. Finish is full but not especially long. I’m the end, it’s a fuller version of OF100, however the taste falls short of it. I don’t really get that banana note much on this and more proofy than taste to that point. Wouldn’t turn it down.

Pleasant OF nose, but not overly distinguishable from standard OF 100. Definitely has that finished quality to it. Extremely sweet with strong banana but not balanced like OF 100 as not enough standard bourbon notes for me. A bit thin on mouth feel. Best part is it does have a decent finish for the proof point. This one has gone down for me over time. I really question a repurchase for myself, but would for guests. Just give me the OF 100 … 1/2 the price and simply better.

Solid bourbon with the best part being the taste as that OF banana note really comes through along with the other traditional bourbon sweet notes. This should be a staple in your line up and never without. Nose also has classic bourbon with banana notes a little more muted. Medium finish … more banana and not the cherry as much that one usually gets but still a bit.

This is the Fiddlesticks SWFL Bourbon Society pick. Coming in around 119 proof this has a completely different profile than standard Yellowstone. Bit of candy corn on the nose. Caramel as well and a whiff of peanut too. On the taste the proof definitely comes through and overpowers classic bourbon notes on what could have been rated much higher. Finish is nice with peanut and cherry and nicely warming which is the highlight of the pour.

Surprising peanut note on the first nose not expecting on a WT product . Subsequent noses were normal WT profile. Very nice mouth feel and taste is definitely that classic WT profile just tamed down a bit. Finish is spicy with classic cherry notes. Enjoyable.

This is not bad at all for a $16 bourbon. A huge Beam peanut on the nose and that typical Beam profile on taste. Peanut and cherry on the finish but really short. Thin mouth feel but again for about $15, can’t really complain.
