Walking Stick Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed October 8, 2022 (edited September 6, 2024)Nose … very traditional. Caramel Taste …. Saw where said it was a Sazerac product so wondering before I tried … BT or Barton. Definitely a Barton as I get that Barton cinnamon come through but not overpowering. Just enough to enjoy and carries through Finish…spice from the cinnamon lingers for a very pleasant drink higher than 90 proof. Bought at ABC in FL and for $35 I think it’s really good value. Would like to try SxS with 1792 SiB.35.0 USD per Bottle -
This is an outstanding bottle. Purchased from RSVP liquor in Portland, ME. Really like everything about it. Definite classic Turkey profile with caramel and oak. Drinks excellent at the 110 proof with a bit of honey on the taste which I definitely enjoy. It has a definite spicy finish and would not want that spice amped up any more than it is, but it doesn’t burn …. Peppery. Medium on finish. No significant criticisms at all. Well done.58.0 USD per Bottle

Larceny Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch A122
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed September 25, 2022 (edited October 21, 2023)Good little sipper. Nothing too special with this and can throw off some proof. Just take it easy with it and enjoy and worth the $55, but don’t expect the best you’ve ever had.55.0 USD per Bottle -
Wilderness Trail Bottled in Bond Small Batch Bourbon (Wheated Bourbon)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed September 25, 2022 (edited December 3, 2022)I have a SiB pick and get really heavy barn from that bottle. On this bottle get a bit of barn on the nose, but the taste and finish is much more traditional. Wouldn’t turn down another pour but doesn’t Stan out enough to buy. -
Kentucky Owl Bourbon St. Patrick's Edition
Bourbon — Kentucky , USA
Reviewed September 25, 2022 (edited November 22, 2022)Tasted at the Bardstown Bourbon Festival. Definitely get that “Irish” influence and I can see those that enjoy Irish whiskey really digging this. For me, drinkable, but not really for me. -
Frank August Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed September 17, 2022 (edited June 20, 2024)If an alien came from outer space and wanted to taste a “bourbon”….I would pick this. I’m not saying this os the absolute best thing you will ever drink however it is the best example of a traditional straight Kentucky bourbon I’ve ever tasted. The nose and taste are absolute traditional bourbon and a friend called it a “butted popcorn”. The back end is spicy which is a nice addition. I love this bourbon and if you look at my ratings I don’t go on and on about much. This is a definite buy if you see it.60.0 USD per Bottle
