Simple, but pleasing. Orangpeel and a melange of bitter herbs, highlighted by some ginger type warming presence.

I love this amaro. Slightly alpine in nature without veering too far down the mint path. Sweet cola base. Crazy as it may sound, I am picking up some big time bubblegum notes on this pour.

Remains a great balance between minty alpine herbs, cola sweetness and classic amaro rhurbarb notes.

Big menthol presence, but with enough caramel sweetness and herbal bitterness to add balance and absorb the mint hint.

The Pacific Northwest's answer to Campari. Certainly, there are similarities here as it has comparable bittersweet rhurbarb character. But there is less grapefruit/chinotto in Woods than in Campari and more of a juniper/fir type character. Woods is also more abrasively bitter in finish (without going too far).
