Tastes

Smoky, tart green apple, grass

Thin, cherry, vanilla, oak, some faint smokiness and orange. A bit of a medicinal finish, not overly spiciness.

Oily, oak, leather, citrus, cherry... good complexity but I wish it was a touch sweeter for my taste

Smooth, some sweetness and vanilla up front and then medicinal & young green wood settles into a spicy finish. Edit: on second taste, I'm getting more hints of peanuts and some brown sugar and think I like this a little more. But still think it tastes a little bit young, harsh and a bit too spicy at the end.

Oak, some smokiness

Dark molasses, liquorice, green pepper, vanilla, mint. Quite a lot of heat when neat. An ice cube dilutes the spice (a bit- still a burning finish!) and brings out more oak and grass, some banana

My initial take was that was too much of a long, spicy finish for me to enjoy very much, although I appreciated the richness and complexity of this bourbon. An ice cube really opened up the flavors though, and made me like this one more. Some eggnog, caramel, toffee, vanilla.

Sweet orange marzipan with a long spicy finish.

Gross, strong, ethanol moonshine

Sweet, smooth, hints of fruit and wood, short finish. I would sip this again but don't love it.
