Smooth sailing from start to finish. Vanilla, caramel & orange zest are up first. Some nice, yet light cinnamon spice sits on the tongue. Ends somewhat malty with underlying cocoa, toffee and brown butter. Short finish. Easy sipper but nothing special.

Spicy apple, cinnamon, vanilla, and honey swirl with touches of ginger and cardamom. Spearmint and pear on the mid-palate. Finishes dry and slightly hot while cedar, leather and some more cinnamon sizzle on the tongue with a smokiness that sits in your chest. Has some similarity to Balvenie Tun 1509 Batch 4. This price point takes the cake though.

Iodine, kelp, sharp green apple & honey up front. Salty peanuts on the mid-palate. Sweet tobacco and a nice wave of smokiness to close it out. Best of this line for the price point hands down.

Caramel, green apple, grass & burnt wood up front. Earthy grains on the mid-palate. Woody quality turns into rich barrel char & peat smoke which wane this one along to the finish. Much more pronounced then the 18 year. Rich blend.

Vanilla & butter up front. A whisper of apple on the mid palate. Subtle peat smoke, cigar ash & tobacco close it out. Very forgiving scotch. Underwhelming IMO.

Tart cherry apple pie & deep raisin flavor with some vanilla swirled in between. Hints of dates, prunes and maple syrup. Slight oak barrel char underneath the sherry forward notes. Velvety smooth chocolate finishes this one up quite nicely. So drinkable you almost forget it’s scotch. Expected a longer finish for the price point hence a slightly lower rating.

Sweet ball of fire! Hot vanilla floods your palate with a buttery undertone that coats your mouth throughout. Definite citrus flares of orange and grapefruit. Briny sweetness and a smokey campfire burn for a long finish. This one kicks.

Brine, moss, deep wave of peat smoke up front. Some subtle tart & sweet flavors appear on the mid palate. Lemon, orange & pear. Oil coats your mouth while another wave of smoke rolls in. Very good for the price point.

Oak barrel, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, caramel, pear, apple, more oak. Short finish. Nice flavors but not working in harmony IMO. Solid, not great.

Pronounced honey, apple, vanilla, sharp tobacco spice, menthol, & spearmint come through to start things off. Malty cereal with maple syrup and a dash of salt on the mid palate. Rich barrel char, leather, medicinal/earthy mint & spices (think cinnamon/cardamom/ginger) linger on the tongue while a nice burn sits in your chest for a long finish. Sublime dram. Hard to justify the price point to most but I’m willing to fork it over to enjoy this every full moon or so.
